Fuel Price Hike: South-east youths call NLC, TUC, women for protest
The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, which is the apex socio- political youth group in the South East Geo- political zone has called on the Nigerian Labour Congress( NLC), the Trade Union Congress( TUC), Nigerian Youths, All Dealers and Businessmen women, All Trade Unions and all Nigerians scholars in the entire nation to come out enmasse for a kick march against this wrong and wickedness brought upon Nigerians by President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Owerri, concertedly championed by the President General COSEYL,Hon. Goodluck Ibem and the hype Secretary Comrade Okey Nwaoru said that it’s time to liberate Nigerian from her tyrants.
They said “ we must march on the thoroughfares of the 36 countries of Nigeria including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja until the energy price is reversed to is old price of N198 per litre ”.

According to them, the recent energy price hike has proved beyond every reasonable mistrustfulness that the former energy price proliferation from N198 to N520 wasn’t as a result of subvention junking but it’s a well advised attempt to bankrupt Nigerians so that they won’t have the energy and strength to challenge the Federal Government in whatever way.
They group said that before former President Muhammadu Buhari handed over to President Bola Tinubu, energy was vended for N198 in energy stations and upon supposition of office of President Tinubu, he unilaterally increased it from N198 to N520 and N550 depending on the state.
They said that when Nigerians are still battling with difficulty to settle with the former price of N520, the same President Tinubu within 2 months in office increased the same price of energy to N617.
They said “ if we minus the new President Tinubu energy price of N617 from N198 of former President Buhari’s old price, the answer is 419. This tells Nigerians the kind of President we’re dealing with ”.
The youth body said that it’s high time Nigerians throw down race, lineage, religion and other evil tactics used by the political class to divide us and face the monsters who are hell– bent to destroy the livelihood of the common millions.
They said that the energy price have been increased to N617 per litre, asking if there are any Yoruba, Hausa/ Fulani or Igbo energy stations where his lineage men or religious members can buy it at a cheaper rate? The answer is capital No!

They described it as veritably unfortunate that a many people in Aso Rock are eating and enjoying while the maturity of the Nigerian citizens suffer and die in menial poverty in the midst of plenitude and abundant natural mineral coffers.
They said “ We do n’t need any palliatives, we only want a reversal of the energy price to N198 per litre ”.
